Representatives from more than 200 businesses working in the Dearne Valley attended a new networking group which hosted its inaugural meeting last week. The Dearne Valley Business Club has been developed by Atteys and The Royal Bank of Scotland.

Not all businesses are as high profile as Northern Rock or Bradford & Bingley but many are going through similar periods of financial difficulties at present. Many need more cash like some of the banks that have been in the press during May 2008.

Solicitors from leading South Yorkshire law firm Atteys swapped their suits for old clothes and wellies and headed to Whirlow Hall Farm to help local youngsters find out more about where their food comes from…
